Nice rack! Get the safety steps!
I’ve already posted a review on this rack, but I want to add a couple of things. Rogue will let you switch out the bar/pins for credit towards safety straps. These are excellent quality and will save wear on your bar. Do it! Another essential item to add to a purchase of this rack is the Monster Lite Matador. I love mine. Very functional. Do it!

Monster Lite but not light duty
No need for most people to have a Monster series rack. The Monster Lite is massively strong. I only wish it had numbered holes like the Monster series. Don’t add the stabilizer bar at the bottom back of the rack. It will get in the way when doing incline bench. I highly recommend bolting the rack to the floor. This way a stabilizer bar will not be necessary. (Use the floor bolts that Rogue provides - or the same type if purchasing elsewhere. Do not use obsolete anchor bolts.) I did purchase the stabilizer bar, but I’ve moved it to the top front of the rack. I do chin-ups elsewhere. I’ve mounted the long storage posts on sides of the back posts of the rack. This is a suitable location since I bring the bar to my sternum when doing bench, and the weights on the bar easily clear the 45s sitting in the posts. This rack fits my basement with a ceiling height of 94” to the floor boards and 86” to the joists. I’ve mounted the cross member at the back and front a little lower. (Since I’m 6’2” I have to press the weights between the joists.) (The Rogue Bench 2.0 no longer available with the rack. Be grateful. This bench has limited notches. It has either too much of an incline or not enough. The Rogue Bench 3 is far superior.)

Great rig
Perfect height for a basement. Rig does everything you would want it to. Well built and solid even without bolting it down.

All you need
I wanted a different style and color. I wanted the strap safeties and not the pipes. This is what I got. Over built, black, solid, high enough and amazing to use. Stable without anchors or braces. I use this every day and it is my lifeline. Like the miniscule spacing in the middle which is also good for progression in pin squats.

Rock Solid Rack
I ordered two racks (probably overkill) so my girlfriend and I could have our own space since we workout together since we were moving out to the country away from any decent gyms. I wanted to wait a few months before giving my review. I am glad I went with the RML-490 because it is STURDY even while doing some crossfit movements such as kipping pull ups or T2B. There is more than enough to squat inside the rack and not feel claustrophobic. If room and $$$ are not an issue then just buy this.

Rock steady
This review is a couple years late. First got my RML-490 in 2018 after deliberating between the different offerings offered by Rogue. I settled on the monster lite vs the infinity because the square shape uprights allowed for accessories to be mounted on any side of the upright. However, the thicker uprights do have some disadvantages when paired with the 20kg Rogue power bar; I have had to clean up my walkout quite a bit to avoid banging weights against the thicker uprights. This wasn’t a problem for me with the wider collars of the 45lb power bars. Rock solid build quality. With the 43” you can use part of the rack for storage and still have more space to lift in than a 24” depth rack. Tons of accessories I appreciate, especially the weight storage pins. Pro tip: before I got the multi grip pull-up bar, I used the skinny fat bar across the top of the rack, so both sides were useable. Also, if you are going to get safety straps, buy them with the rack and rogue will credit you the cost of the pin-pipe safeties.
