Developed from the same uncompromising design philosophy as the Echo cardio line, the Rogue Air Rhino introduces a new element in resistance training. Originally conceived in 2018, this idea evolved through multiple concepts, ultimately resulting in this final design based on the Rogue Rhino Belt Squat that utilizes a flywheel similar to the Rogue Echo Rower and Rogue Echo SKI. Anchored to a heavy duty steel and aluminum platform, the Air Rhino is a user powered engine providing velocity dependent resistance that scales with your effort. The harder you pull, the more it fights back. The Air Rhino supports a wide range of movements, to include, belt squats, deadlifts, seated rows, upright rows, curls, presses and more.

The Rogue Air Rhino uses a dynamic flywheel resistance system that responds directly to your effort. The harder and faster you pull, the greater the resistance, creating an experience that rewards explosive intent while reducing recovery time between training sessions.
Resistencia concéntrica únicamente
The Air Rhino applies resistance only during the lifting phase of each repetition. Once you finish the pull, the resistance disappears, allowing you to return to the starting position without controlling a heavy load.
- Train Safer – Without an eccentric load, there is no heavy weight to catch or lower under fatigue. If you reach failure, simply release the handle and the resistance stops immediately.
- Develop Explosive Power – With no stretch reflex to rely on, every repetition demands maximum intent from the start, reinforcing rapid force production.
- Recover Faster – Removing the eccentric phase significantly reduces muscle soreness, allowing for more frequent high-intensity training.
- Target Sticking Points – Start from virtually any position in the range of motion to isolate weak points without the need for spotter arms, pins, or additional equipment.
Dynamic, Speed-Dependent Resistance
Resistance automatically adjusts to your output. Pull harder, and the Air Rhino pushes back with more resistance. Every repetition adapts to your current strength and effort, making the machine equally effective for explosive power work, heavy strength training, conditioning, and injury rehabilitation.

In addition to tracking familiar performance metrics like watts, calories, and distance, the Air Rhino introduces force-based metrics to measure strength output. Whether you're training for personal progress or competing in official XENOM™ events, the console delivers accurate, consistent performance data every workout.
Strength-Focused Performance Metrics
- Average Force – Measures the average force applied throughout each repetition. Think of it as a barbell equivalent, making it easy to benchmark and track strength progress over time.
- Force Over Time – Measures cumulative force across each rep and the entire workout, rewarding both how hard and how long you pull.
- Watts – Tracks power output per repetition and across the full workout.
- Calories – Calculates total work performed, similar to other flywheel-based machines.
- Distance – Measures the actual length of rope pulled on every repetition and throughout the workout.

High-Strength Synthetic Cord
At the core of the Air Rhino's drive system is a high-strength synthetic cord engineered to withstand extreme, repetitive loads. Advanced material design makes this synthetic cord 25% stronger than a steel cable of the exact same diameter, ensuring zero compromise in safety or reliability during maximum-effort pulls.
Additionally, the system provides a massive 98 inches of cord travel length, easily accommodating athletes of all sizes and allowing sufficient extension for any movement, from deep belt squats and heavy deadlifts to full-range overhead presses.

The Rogue Air Rhino is the official machine used for Event 007 – 5RM Rhino Pull at every XENOM™ competition. Known as the Decathlon of Fitness™, XENOM™ is a stadium-scale, two-day competition consisting of 10 events that measure total human performance through a standardized, points-based scoring system. By testing athletes across every major domain of fitness, XENOM™ establishes the first repeatable global benchmark for high-performance athletes.
XENOM™ MODE
The Air Rhino features a dedicated XENOM™ mode that replicates the official competition settings. Set the damper to MAX, enable RHINO MODE, and select XENOM on the monitor. Once you begin your first pull, you'll have 30 seconds to complete five deadlift reps, just as you would in competition.
Using real-time stroke analysis and advanced motion algorithms, the Air Rhino intelligently validates each repetition by evaluating multiple parameters, including a minimum stroke length. It automatically rejects incomplete reps so they do not contribute to Average Power calculations. Additionally, the system supports future firmware updates to further refine detection accuracy and adapt to evolving competition standards.
