What Sets the RH-2 Apart:

  • 1Strength Training

Rogue’s Reverse Hyper decompresses the spine without enacting any vertical compression on it, allowing for dynamic strength development in the concentric phase. The spine is gently stretched and depressurized during the process, creating—in essence—an internal pumping mechanism, filling the spinal column with spinal fluid and the lower back muscles with blood. By strengthening the lower lumbar, athletes can improve their recovery times and endurance, allowing them to train longer with reduced soreness. RH movements can have similar benefits for the glutes, hamstrings, hips, and more.

  • 2Rehab Training

Anyone who has injured their back knows that the pressure needs to be relieved and circulation restored to the injured area in order to rehabilitate. The reverse hyperextension machine offers one of the best methods for achieving this. Just as it serves as a dynamic strength developer in the concentric phase, the RH-2 is also an ideal rehabilitation mechanism in the eccentric phase. Some athletes trust the RH-2 as a way to focus on hip extension when rehabbing from a foot, ankle, or knee injury, as well.

  • 3Quality Construction

The RH-2 is manufactured in the USA with US steel, utilizing 2x3” (legs and swing-arm) and 2x2” (base) steel tubing. The legs feature a welded-on step to assist in getting onto the unit, and the 3” thick pad is designed with a cornered style edge, protecting the user’s hips from any contact with hard steel. For the handles, we used 1" solid round steel with 6" long rubber grips and multiple hand-holds to accommodate varying user heights. The entire unit ships fully assembled, complete with a laser-cut Rogue nameplate. All you have to do is bolt on the protective rubber feet, which help prevent floor damage and restrict any movement of the machine during use.

  • 4Takes Any Plates

The RH-2 is compatible with both bumpers and steel plates at any any increment, including 45LB steel. There is 10.5” of plate loading capacity on each side of the swing arm, enough for over 700LB of steel plates. Need a new set of plates to go with your reverse hyper? Check out our Rogue Steel Olympic Plates, or our Hi-Temp or HG 2.0 bumpers.

  • 5Ready Out of the Box

Not only is the RH-2 delivered fully assembled, it also comes standard with OSO Mighty Axle Collars and a Spud Inc Hyper Strap, so you can get to work: day one, hour one. Customers have also have the option of adding a compatible roller attachment to their order at an additional cost. The Rogue RH-2 Roller Attachment features a quick release design for easy transitions from the hyper straps to the roller system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t imagine life without it I’ve had one for about a year and a half now. From what I remember shipping was great in that it was packaged very well. Easy to unbox and was already bolted together which was nice. Built like a tank. Gets used just about every day. Still looks new and functions perfectly. I’ll throw on anywhere from 90lbs up to 360lbs depending on the day. I really notice the difference on my lifts because of the high volume I put in on it every week. I tried doing other things to mimmick it for a while but nothing comes close. Thank you Louie Simmons And thank you Rogue Fitness

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to I was very skeptical of this machines ability to rehab a person's back, but after just two months I am blown away by my progress. Ive had back injuries from the Marines for over a decade. I got fed up with the chiropractor and decided to buy this. I wish I had bought this 15 years ago. It has all but eliminated my severe back pain. With that said, the machine is solid but huge. It also does have a tendency to wobble as other reviews suggest. These are minor issues, but don't expect to fit this into a small gym. If we had any advice for Rogue, I'd say make a mor reasonably sized model between this and the folding one. I think it would work out a lot better for most home gym users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for powerlifter I haven’t had this piece long enough to reap all the benefits yet but I can say this. After using the hyper I can feel the blood being pushed into my lower back and feel the decompression in my spine. Not to mention the glute squeeze at the top

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slept on I should've bought this machine 4 years ago. I have lumbar issues and this piece of equipment is definitely realigning my lower back and strengthening hips. The pain I had in my back has been reduced at least 20 to 30% which is huge for a pain that is daily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great customer service Reverse hyper was sent to me with a twisted swing arm. I was very disappointed because of the reputation of this company/ made in USA and the fact I paid $155 for shipping. After getting in contact with customer service they had me a new swing arm in less than a week. Customer service was awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life changing In Aug2019 I had more than the usual lower back pain. I complained to a doctor at that time. The pain continued to get worse and by September I could barely walk and was in excruciating pain. This lasted until December when I forced myself to start being active again. The pain got abetted was still very nagging and affecting my daily life. I got back from deployment in January and started using my reverse hyper I’d purchased. I couldn’t even really do the movement at first. I used it before every workout and range of motion slowly started to improve as I continued to add weight. Once I saw this improvement I started using it everyday when I wake up and before bed. I can officially say I don’t have back pain anymore. I tried multiple massages, PT and chiropractors. Nothing worked and I spent well over what the reverse hyper costs. If you have back pain do yourself a favor and purchase a reverse hyper.
