Rogue RM-6 Monster Rack 2.0

Rogue designed the fully customizable power racks of the Monster Series to meet the high demands of the top professional, collegiate, and high school athletic facilities in the world. We used bigger, 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing, over-sized 1” hardware, and a bolt-together design for easier portability and affordable shipping. With Version 2.0, we’ve also rolled out a number of new features, including a wide spectrum of custom color options, laser-cut pin position numbers on the uprights and bottom crossmembers, and a keyhole pattern on the sides of each upright—creating compatibility with more add-ons and attachments. Check out all the custom options available on the RM-6 Monster Rack below.

The RM-6 2.0 comes with all required 1" hardware, a set of 4 band pegs, 8 plate storage posts, and ships standard with (2) Rogue Monster 1.5" Wrenches . Any other attachments and accessories pictured are NOT included.

Rogue RM-6 Monster Rack 2.0 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heart of my Garage Gym After months of research, field trials at several local gyms and studios, and the recommendation of those much smarter than me, I decided to purchase a Rogue Power Rack. I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted to arrange the gym in my garage, so I opted to start with the RM-4. It was clear after about 6 months that my power rack was the center of my gym and I easily decided to add the conversion kit. Simple 5 minute phone call and my upgrade was complete. I am now the proud owner of a custom Power Rack that I will happily use until my last days. This thing is built like a fortress. Once it is bolted to the slab, it isn't going anywhere. I opted to put weight storage posts on the inside as I didn't need the additional "workout station" as others have suggested. I have several exterior attachments (i.e. matador, rope attachment, WOD Rollers, Split Squat Roller, etc. that I need clearance on the outside for. The sturdiness definitely affords that type of flexibility in configuration. I would DEFINITELY recommend buying the additional spotting arms (I have posted a review there as well). The addition of those simple arms gives me the additional workout station on the exterior of the rack that I sacrificed for the interior storage of my bumpers. The versatility is only limited by your imagination. I have configured the entire rack to focus on powerlifting and it has easily handled everything I have thrown at it. As mentioned above, I have several attachments that are easily added and interchangeable with the layout of the holes and keyholes on all sides. * Reverse Hyper Attachment (RH-2M) with optional Removable Hitchpins * Utility Seat with Safety Spotter Arms * Monster Matador * Monster Monolift Suggestions - if I had it do all over again... 1. Just go with the RM-6 to start with. Once you are bitten by the Rogue bug, it doesn't take long to justify the additional options the RM-6 affords you over the RM-4. 2. As I said above, get the Safety Spotter Arms. It gives an entire additional dimension to the outside of the rack - from a workout station to plyobox jumps - opens a lot of doors. 3. Just go with Rogue - they are the leader of the pack for a reason! Others may offer nice equipment, but the innovative thinking and myriad of options make this rack nearly impossible to beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME This rack is great! I have 3 different workout stations on it, one in the front, middle and back. Looks great and is solid. I highly recommend changing the back section (as noted in another review) from 24" to 30", or 43" so you can have another workout area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid power rack This rack is so solid that it barely moves when using it with heavy weights. Its the best investment if you are looking to buy a rack that will last forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time for some MONSTER lifts! I was very impressed with the quality of this power rack. Everything bolted up nicely, it's super heavy duty which is very ideal for myself since I'm a powerlifter. The wrenches Rogue supplies work great to get in the tight areas, however if you want to speed up the process, your local Autozone carries the right size socket head, and wrench for the 1" bolts/ nuts. I also purchased the adjustable monolift attachment which will help greatly since my federation uses a monolift for the squat session. I also ordered the matador dip attachment which is a great heavy duty piece. I love the lime green paint! I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone that's serious about lifting heavy weight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT'S A MONSTER Originally, I was surprised that Rouge only had one review of this rack on their website. Prior to purchasing this rack I was only able to find several reviews of it on youtube and other exercise forums. I purchased the RM-6 to replace a squat rack similar to the SML-2, mainly because I wanted the extra plate storage, multiple pull up options and additional upgrades such as safety straps and the monolift. I have worked in the commercial gyms, Div. 1 Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Programs, and the Military. This rack is as high quality as they come. Once the rack is bolted together it's rock solid, and built like a tank. The only issue with assembly was trying to find a ratchet head large enough for the 1" hardware, I ended up having to go to Tractor Supply Co. and get a 1.5" ratchet head and adapter. Set-up took about two and a half hours from delivery and initial unboxing to complete. I also ordered the Rouge Monolift, XM-43M multi grip pull up bar, both sets of the Monster Pull Up Spheres, Landmine and Monster Shackle. Additionally, I had a local metal shop make a 3" diameter pull up bar to fit the rack as well. All of those additions add to the variety of exercises I am able to perform, as well as Rogue accessories I can add to the rack. I'm assuming if you're looking to purchase the Monster Rack Series, you are weighing the difference between the Monster the Monster lite version. Personally, I chose the Monster Rack because it was only about $200 more in price and I felt like if I was spending the money I might as well pay the little extra and get the best rack possible. Having been in the business for awhile I knew the accessories and attachments I wanted to add to the rack and the RM-6 gives you so many options for customizing your individual setup. I do plan to add more things in the future but for right now the setup I have currently does everything I need and more. If I could do it again, I would upgrade the 24" (back) crossmembers to 30", I think the extra space would give you just enough room to squeeze in another work area without having to worry about the plate storage. This will be the last rack I will ever buy, and the main reason I chose the RM-6 was because of all the extra attachments and accessories you can purchase to customize your home gym. For the two crossmembers I chose the single fat bar pull up bar, and the 43" beam with gussets. The 43" crossmember allows me to mount the 3" and 5" Pull-up Spheres and a Monster Shackle. One thing I did was instead of mounting the fat pull up bar to the actual crossmember as shown in the pictures on the website, I turned the mounting brackets horizontal and mounted it to the top of the rack, this allows me to do several things: maximize the height of the bar on the rack in order to hang rings or other accessories, and it also gives me enough room to do flying pull ups or monkey bar work back and forth between all of the pull up bars. If you are going to do this I would recommend connecting it before you bolt everything together, I ended up having to use a rubber mallet to hit it into place since it was a tight fit. My original plan was to mount the XM-43M multi grip pull up bar so it would be above the height of the rack. But once I found I was able to mount the fat bar between the top crossmembers I inverted the XM-43M. Even with all of the extra attachments I still have more than enough room to do squats and shoulder presses. The monolift does take up a lot of room, but it is well worth the investment. It did take a couple workouts to get used to the monolift simply because I was so used to walking the weight out. With a bench inside the rack there is still enough room to do ring dips and pull ups on both ends of the rack. The Rogue Landmine is a great addition, you can mount it pretty much anywhere, and the additional handles you can use along with it allow for seemingly endless options for rowing, pressing, squatting and rotational exercises. The plate storage posts add an additional 12"-13" to the width of the rack on each side. I spent a lot of time measuring the area I wanted to put the rack because once it's assembled it's going to be very difficult to move with less than 2-3 people. The numbered holes make changing J-cups and band pegs super easy. I didn't understand the keyhole tear drop design until we were mounting some of the pull up bars. The tear drop allows you to vary the height of the crossmembers, this was useful when dealing with the bolts coming from the back two crossmembers and the plate storage posts when mounting the additional pull up bar. Overall, would recommend this rack to the serious strength athlete who is ready to take their training and home gym setup to the next level. If you want the best rack Rouge has to offer the RM-6 will not disappoint.
