I have been lucky enough to use this pad regular at my gym (I am in Germany). Let me tell you, I have used everything in an attempt to find the optimal padding over the years. The average rolls might be ok at a lower weight, but once you go high up, it becomes painful. Not with this pad. It is big enough to spread the weight evenly across your hip, not having you feel a painful pressure against the hip-bones (I suffered, a LOT). At the same time it's small enough so you stay in control, balancing out the bar just perfectly. You can focus entirely on your exercise with this (as it should be!) without struggling around on suboptimal other solutions while doing hipthrusts (and we ladies know - the thrust is a must ;) ). I whole-heartedly and sincerely can say that this is by far the best hipthrust solution in my opinion (using barbells!) and worth the money. I go so far as to say, I wished this became a standard piece of equipment in all gyms, as much as having a back-roll. Please you guys, find a way to sell this across Europe somehow. The shipping and taxing fees on top of tge purchas proce, make it very expensive to get on my side if the world.

You wouldn't think it would make that much difference compared to a squat pad, but it actually does. The secret is that one side of the pad is hard-ish plastic and the other is soft padding. The barbell goes on the hard side and distributes the weight more evenly through the soft part. The price still seems a tad steep for what you actually get, but it does work and I'm not sure there's anything else like it on the market.

I used this for the first time today and idk why I didn’t buy it sooner. I like how the weight gets distributed. I don’t need to adjust the roller pad anymore. Pad on lap, unrack bar. Simple and effective. I was surprised at the quality, there is a rigid pad inside, as well as soft padding. I would 100% suggest this for anyone who likes hip thrusts.

This is an excellent tool for any exercise where the hips get in touch with a barbell. For sure most people, me including, will use it for Hip Thrusts. And yes indeed, Hip Thrusts feel very comfortable even with heavy weights. But I also like to use it for hip supported RDLs (also single leg) and wide stance back extensions, using a strap with a buckle around the hips. And with the pad you can perfectly focus on the movement. You can also perform DIY pendulum squats with the pad on the back. This tool will definitely enlarge the number of exercise you can do for training the hip muscels. Furthermore I want to thank Rogue Fitness for refunding the money of the first pad I ordered. Unfortunately, the parcel was left at the Appartment house and somebody stole it before I returned from work. I informed Rogue fitness and they confirmed that the delivery was not properly. So I ordered a new one and got refunded the first one which was stolen. In summary, great product, great service, nothing to complain!
