RML-3FULLW Fold Back Rack In Action

Monster Lite RML-390FULLW Fold Back Wall Mount Power Rack

The RML-3FULLW is our most space-efficient and uncompromising Fold Back Power Rack to date. Equipped with (4) 90” Monster Lite uprights in your choice of more than a dozen different custom color finishes, this full wall-mounted unit has a 30” inside depth with a set of 30” Strap Safeties included standard with all orders. Our new hinge + mini crossmember design also now allows the rack’s moveable panels to be folded flush over top of each other,* saving more wall space for other storage, mountable accessories, etc.

*When both panels are folded inward, the unit will extend just 6.5” off the mounting surface (7.25” when used with the optional stringer pair). That reduces to less than 5” when the panels are folded outward against the wall.

Because the RML-3FULLW is manufactured in the USA with US steel and utilizes a full set of (4) 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights with protective UHMW feet, the training experience—whether as a squat stand, pull-up station, or power rack—is miles beyond that of lighter retractable units made from thinner steel. Each rack comes standard with a convenient Quick-Attach Pull-Up Bar (which can be easily pinned in place using the provided hitchpins), a set of Monster Lite J-Cups, and all required hardware for set-up. Note: The hinge pivot bolts have a bright zinc finish but all other bolts on the unit are black zinc.

Note: The hinge pivot bolts have a bright zinc finish but all other bolts on the unit are black zinc

Please Note: All uprights include laser-cut numbering except for units selected with a Black Texture finish (these are non-numbered and available at a lower price point). Across all colorways, the included hinge pivot bolts have a bright zinc finish, while all other bolts are black zinc.

Optional Stringers
For optimal support, you can add a pair of Rogue Stringers to any Monster Lite Fold Back Rack order. Made from laser-cut and formed 11-gauge steel, these stringers measure 59" long x 10-1/8" tall, and extend 13/16" off the mounting surface when installed. One stringer is used to mount the top hinge brackets and the other for the bottom hinge brackets.

Key Features of the RML-3FULLW

  • 1 Improved Space Efficiency

As with our previous wall-mounted Fold Back Racks, a set of detent pins are provided to conveniently lock the rack into either the open position (ready for use) or closed position (against the wall). A new and improved hinge and mini-crossmember design, however, now makes it possible to fold the two panels completely over top of one another, leaving more available wall space for other accessories and/or storage capacity. When folded inward, the rack extends just 6.5" off the mounting surface (7.25" when used with the optional stringer pair), meaning you can have a world-class, full-size power rack in your garage without having to park your car on the street at night. Gym owners can further maximize your space with our efficient Wall Storage Options.

  • 2 Size + Safety

Unlike most wall-mounted units, this is a full power rack equipped with (4) 90” Monster Lite uprights. The inside depth is 30”, and a set of Monster Lite 30" Strap Safeties are included with each unit. The Strap Safeties, which weren’t compatible with our previous Fold Back Racks, offer huge benefits for the user, as he/she can now bench inside the rack with the assurance of added safety and protection on failed lifts. All uprights also include laser-cut numbering except for units selected with a Black Texture finish (these are non-numbered and available at a lower price point).

  • 3 Heavy Gauge American Steel & Hardware

The RML-3FULLW is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel, using heavy-duty 11 gauge 3x3" square laser cut steel uprights with 0.625" diameter SAE grade 5 bolt hardware. Laser-cut holes (Westside pattern) and a quality powdercoat finish add to the long-term durability of the unit. This RML-3FULLW is compatible with our exclusive Monster Lite accessories and add-ons. Start with the Fold-Back as your base, and build your arsenal over time. This unit is guaranteed by Rogue for Life.

  • 4 Choice of Color

Customers can order the RML-3FULLW Fold Back Power Rack in a wide range of custom color finishes, available to choose from the order menu. Make a personal statement or tie in your power rack with a high school, college, or pro team’s colors.
Please Note: The crossmembers, hinges, and pull-up bar on all units will retain a Rogue Signature texture black powder coat finish, no matter which upright color is selected. Laser-cut numbering is also included with all upright colorways except the Texture Black option, which is unnumbered and available at a lower price point.

  • 5 Easy Installation + Optional Stringers

Each unit comes standard with a Quick-Attach Pull-Up Bar, (4) mounting brackets for installation + all necessary hardware, a set of Monster Lite J-cups, and (4) detent pins. Having holes 2” on center allows for some choices in mounting the swing arms, which can be important if you need foundation clearance. We’re also offering an optional pair of 11-gauge steel stringers (at additional cost), which are recommended for maximum stability. These stringers feature pre-cut slots, allowing users to mount them to a standard wood stud wall (4 studs required for installation). All required hardware (16-3/8" x 2-1/2" black wood lags and washers) is included with the stringers, but any customers attempting to mount to a wall construction other than wood stud will be responsible for acquiring the correct hardware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new folding squat rack I have a small workout area and workout alone so i have a small workout room and workout some. I needed the safety of a full squat rack and the space saving feature that it easily folds against the wall. The shipping was great and on schedule and straight forward to construct

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatility! I bought this rack because it has the ability to fold relatively flat. I will admit that I have not folded it up yet out of need, just the first time to see how it worked. The quality is great, my product arrived with some damaged boxes and some scratches on the posts but nothing that prevents it from working. That being said, the thing like the most is that this a real full rack, albeit not as deep as some other non folding racks. I frequently use the inside and outside of the rack for different lifts. Having it anchored to the wall is a huge plus, this thing just doesn't sway forward and back at all. However, it does sway side to side a bit as the pull bar has a little sway in it, but nothing that prevents me from lifting or even come remotely close to being scary. I will say though, it would be nice to have a cross member attached at the top with some type of quick release bolt, like Rogue offers on the monster series, it would also some more options for attachments etc. Over this thing is great, works with all the accessories from the RML line!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rack, room for spotter in front and back! More expensive and you may need professional help, budget for that - it's heavy. But, well worth the price, head and shoulders better if you need a sturdy, solid rack for heavy lifting. The safety arms are awesome. Cannot be happier. Be honest with your space, I have a nice 8X10 space (i can creep beyond that) in garage and link my TRX to it. If you have a smaller space, go with the fold in, small and less expensive. If space HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extraordinary Power Rack This power rack is awesome! I put a lot of thought into building out my home gym because of space concerns and the ability to utilize that space for what I needed. I didn't particularly want to have to bolt my rack down and due to it being in my office, it only left the option of me building a platform and bolting it to that. This solved a lot of those concerns. I can fold it in easy if I need space but have yet to fold it in as I haven't found a need. I didn't have to bolt it down as it is mounted to the wall. This has given me the ability to hang a heavy bag off of the front and not worry about the rack going anywhere on the days I lift heavier. I had no real issues installing it. I had to do a little math to get my stringers where they should be since I raised them higher and due to my ceiling height, it was suggested that I could just cut the uprights which took all of 20 minutes to cut a couple inches off the tops. I installed this completely by myself and all things considered took a couple hours. This rack is solid though and I love it. I was excited that I had the option to get a full rack that I could anchor to the wall, have the safeties there, as I lift alone and provide me the versatility I need for attachments. I would recommend this as an option to anyone, as it checks so many boxes for usefulness and flexibility. I can't say enough positive things. *One thing to be aware of, make sure you are mounting your stringers to a flat surface. Especially, if you are putting this in a garage and have to drill into concrete. Twisting of the stringer will cause difficulty with easily placing and removing the securing pins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Build & Options We are so happy we purchased this. We have not been disappointed. It is so well constructed. So sturdy. Love the numbered uprights. Love the color we chose. Love that we have the option to fold it back against the wall for more room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does what it says, but the compromise is real So, the good: when folded, it's tiny! It takes up so little space, it's amazing. And then it unfolds into a full power rack. This is awesome. The custom color looks amazing - I love the blue. It's very easy to fold in and out, taking less than a minute total. It takes more time to move the barbells and plates than it does to fold the rack itself. The other reviewers talk a lot about how great the rack is, so I won't cover the positives as much here. Let's get into the downsides. You want a compact, convertible thing? You know there are going to be downsides. The installation is annoying. The measurements you need to make are very precise and painstaking - the rack must be perfectly level, and there's not much margin for error with the included bolts. If your floor is not perfectly level, then you need to use spacers to ensure that the rack feet all touch the ground. However, this means that you're going to be applying a lot of pressure when the feet are pulled in. Rather than putting spacers under the feet, it's better to add spacers under the rubber mat or flooring to level it out. The rack isn't entirely stable. It sways side-to-side slightly. The pullup bar is the only thing giving it lateral stability. The rack is also quite wide, so you're probably going to hit the vertical supports when walking a squat out, causing the whole thing to shake a bit. It's not a huge problem, but it is unnerving. The rack is right next to the wall. It's uncomfortable to setup for a squat with the J-cups against the wall - my face has maybe an inch of clearance. If I had a longer neck, it'd be really awkward. Fortunately, you can put the J-cups on the outer supports, but then there's very little room for a spotter. Unfortunately, there's no good way to bench. If you are very short, you might be able to put the J-cups on the outer support. At 5'10", I'm too tall to do that. With my head pointing towards the wall, there's really no space for a spotter to provide adequate spotting. I had concrete at the bottom of the wall in my garage, so I had to raise the bottom stringer, which means I need to also raise the crossmembers. I can't deadlift in the rack now. It would be nice to only need to raise the stringer supports and keep the crossmembers low. If you absolutely need to be able to save space, then this works well enough. Unfortunately, I realized after installing it that I didn't need the folding ability, and would have had space with a full stand-alone power rack that wouldn't have any of these problems. I'm giving it "1 star as a $1300 power rack" and "4 stars for a compactable power rack," averaging out to 2 stars. If you can possibly have enough space for a regular power rack, save yourself the $700 and get an R-3. If you don't have space for a power rack, strongly consider squat stands or the even-smaller wall-mounted options. At $1300+, it's a huge amount of money to spend on something that just doesn't work great.
