Rogue Abram GHD 2.0 - Glute-Ham Developer

The Rogue Abram GHD 2.0 combines consistent performance and stability with smooth, precision adjustments and unique portability. This compact machine is a comprehensive tool for midline stabilization and the strengthening of hamstrings and glutes—all in a way that's functionally transferable to an athlete’s sport.

Version 2.0 keeps the core elements of the original Abram GHD and adds design innovations from Rogue’s own heavy-duty Monster Swing-Arm GHD, including an advanced 10-slot roller assembly. The unit is manufactured in the USA with US steel from 2x3” 11-gauge steel, with a bolt-together, triangular-base design and rubber feet for maximum sturdiness through peak power output.

Along with strengthening muscles within the posterior chain, GHD training allows one of the only safe ways to actively train your spinal erectors. GHD sit-ups also result in one of the most powerful abdominal contractions of any movement in the gym. The midline stabilization gained acts like an intrinsic weight belt protecting the spine and improving sport performance.

  • 1Refined Rogue Design

The GHD 2.0 introduces a bolt-together, triangular base design and front handle assembly. The ankle roller pads are horizontally adjustable and the vertical position is in the ideal angle for peak muscle recruitment, benefiting any athlete who is training core power and strength.

  • 2Swing-Arm Adjustments

By utilizing similar swing-arm technology found in our collegiate style GHD, we enable the user to quickly adjust the roller assembly to his or her desired setting, with 10 lock-in positions to choose from. The roller pads themselves are 8.5" long by 5" in diameter, and are spaced 8" on center vertically, creating a 3" gap between them for foot placement. Every aspect of this design makes the machine easily adaptable to a wide range of athletes—ideal for a larger training facility.

  • 3Quality Construction = Max Stability

The Abram GHD 2.0 is proudly manufactured in Columbus, Ohio with US steel, using 2x3" 11-gauge steel tubing, a 3/16" laser-cut steel footplate, and heavy-duty, moisture-wicking pads. The single piece chassis construction along the length of the unit eliminates joints that may move when under intense use. These elements, combined with our triangular-base design and the inclusion of protective rubber feet, produce a consistent level of performance and stability you won't find in most imported GHD machines.

  • 4Dynamic New Additions to Your Gym

As the leading manufacturer of American-made strength and conditioning equipment, Rogue has developed a range of top quality, stand-alone strength training machines that go far beyond the standards of most sporting good store imports. This includes not only our original GHDs, but dynamic tools like the Rogue Z Hyper, Rhino Belt Squat, and Rogue Echo Bike.

  • 5Unique Portability

For a nearly 200LB+ machine, the GHD 2.0 is both easy to set up and easy to move. All required hardware is included with the unit, and with a design that features a set of wheels and handles, it’s the perfect Glute Ham Developer for any garage gym or training facility where space is at a premium. Adjust it, use it, move it. Make it work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Like this machine a lot, had to wait but worth the wait. Like how well it’s made, and one of the best things I like about this machine like most of Rogue equipment is it’s made in the USA. Thanks Rogue for another great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious Muscle Activation We just got new rouge squat racks and this GHD2.0 and wow... I’ve never had my hamstrings activated like this machine does. Seriously brutal. New favorite for leg day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult hams and gluts work easily on GHD. The ideal workout machine. I was in constant glut and ham pain from squats and dead lifts. The GHD allows me to stretch hams and work hams and gluts well together. Machine itself if built like a tank. Adjusts easily and quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a tank! The unit is solid. I'm 230lb & no extra weight on the machine is needed to make sure the GHD isn't moving around while being used. Easy to put together. I will say the rollers where you put your feet in ( I wear a size 13 ) is a little too close together and you have to work to get your feet in- but it is just something to get used to. Happy with purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This is one of the best pieces of equipment in my home gym. We use it as Regular GHD and for sit ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast of a bit of kit Absolutely solid, never wobbles, or moves ever! Heavy weight and fully adjustable which for these exercises is a god send.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised, with a bonus As you can tell by the picture, this thing is solid and heavy. (In retrospect, I should have left a tip for the UPS driver.) Once in place, it's not going anywhere. It's big; takes up a 6' long and 4' wide footprint, but the footplate end can be set in a corner because you won't need to get behind the thing on that end. Plan at least another foot of floor space on the other end to accommodate actually doing the exercises so you don't smack your head on the next piece of equipment. Some of the other reviews noted that there's still a little bit of play in the swing arm assembly even when both pins are in place and the roller assembly knob is tightened. This is because the adjustment holes on the arc are a little bigger than the pin used to lock the arm in place, but it's not so much that it bothers me. Also, as others have also noted, I learned fast to SLOWLY set my legs between the rollers after several not-so-gentle reminders of knocking my ankle bones on the outside of the roller pads - ouch. Assembly isn't that bad, it took me about 2 hours by myself. The arm assembly arrives already put together, which was a relief. I was a little disconcerted once I finished because I ended up with an extra four 3.5" bolts along with their washers, but after rereading the instructions learned that those are for if you want to remove the roller wheels and need to replace the bolts holding those on. All in all very satisfied so far. No doubt it's a lot to spend on a piece of equipment for such a limited amount of exercises, but I can report that after only using it about twice per week for a month, I'm already starting to notice improvement in my squats. I feel more stable doing them now, my form feels better, and I'm expecting to start upping my maxes on a regular basis because of it. For reference, I'm almost 50, and I have also noticed that I'm waking up with less back pain in the morning since I started using it, which has been an unexpected bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just about perfect My GHD showed up in five perfectly packed boxes and went together in about an hour. It’s totally solid in use although I’m still learning how to do a proper GHR without a band for assistance, but that’s on me. The only small change I would suggest is for the handles to be a bit longer. I’m relatively tall and it’s a bit of a reach back to grab them when doing certain movements. Regardless it’s the best GHD I’ve used.
