The Science Behind the Reverse Hyperextension Machine:

Rogue’s Reverse Hyper decompresses the spine and has no vertical compression on the spine at all. This simple device allows for dynamic strength development in the concentric phase, while serving as a rehabilitation mechanism in the eccentric phase. The spine is gently stretched and depressurized during the process, creating--in essence--an internal pumping mechanism, filling the spinal column with spinal fluid and the lower back muscles with blood. Anyone who has injured their back knows that the pressure needs to be relieved and circulation restored to the injured area in order to rehabilitate. The reverse hyperextension machine offers one of the best methods for achieving this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great space saver Got it a few months ago and love it would recommend it. Difficult to install, so once mounted it will stay where it is. I have a rogue rml4100 (4’ inside deep) and i can still do squats inside rack but makes bench pressing awkward. The pad extends about 5-6” inside the rack. This makes the rack extremely stable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank I've had this thing for about two years now. It's big, and definitely professional grade, but that describes all the stuff I've purchased from rogue. When I first got it I was pretty impressed that I managed to get it into my basement by myself, but then I realized I'd have to get this beast into the rack. Now, I'm a little guy and not exactly young, but I'm no wimp. I tried putting it on a plyo box, but that was going to be too much of a hassle for regular use. Somehow I got the bright idea to put it on a lift, but my auto jacks only go so high. I stumbled upon a dirt bike jack online and it makes moving this thing around a breeze for one person. Just thought I'd throw this tip out here for anyone that works out alone, because no one is getting this thing in there by themselves. Ok, maybe Brian Shaw, but that's probably it. Bottom line is Rogue makes big heavy awesome stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Can Be Done..... All of you know.......buying Rogue equipment teeters on an addiction. I started with an S-2 Squat Stand. In time added the HR-2 Half Rack Conversion Kit with 700 lbs of plate storage. This half rack is a beast. I wanted a reverse hyper to rehab my posterior chain. I am sure Rogue would probably not recommend this but.....I mounted the RH-2I Rogue Hyper to the rack. It is sweet......I knew it would work.......Hey it's Rogue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Smooth We purchased this essential training item when it was first released, we also have a free standing RH. This one mounts slightly higher than the free standing and works like a dream, its a very smooth and easy to operate. Just know that the pad and antlers (handles) stick out pretty far, those anthers will jump out and bite you if you're not paying attention. Also remember when considering buying that you lose a squat rack on your rig which may come back to bit you later. I'm not sure how it would be possible to make but if there were a conversion kit to make it free standing that would be awesome. None the less, this thing is bulletproof, no back injuries at our gym!
