Rogue RML-690C Power Rack 3.0

Optimized for rock solid stability and space-efficient plate storage, the latest version of our RML-690C Monster Lite Power Rack also includes a wide range of custom color finish options, a new back-nameplate, the Slinger-compatible crossmembers, and your choice of either numbered or unnumbered uprights.

The Monster Lite 690 series was originally developed to combine the 3x3” 11-gauge steel construction of the RM-6 Monster Rack with the 5/8” hardware of the Infinity R-6, and it remains among the most versatile and customizable power racks in the industry. Each unit is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, and comes standard with (6) 90” uprights, 5/8” bolts and fasteners, (2) Monster Lite J-Cups, (2) pin/pipe safeties, (4) band pegs, (1) 43” single pull-up bar, and (8) plate storage posts for the back section of the unit. The laser-cut holes on each upright are spaced in the Westside pattern: 1” through bench and clean pull zone, 2” spacing above and below.

Once set up, gym owners can completely customize their rack by selecting any number of compatible Monster Lite attachments and add-ons, each sold separately. Popular additions include the Monster Lite Matador, Safety Spotter Arms, Slinger, and Long Plate Storage.

The RML-690’s durability, customization options, and storage capacity make it equally suited as the centerpiece for a garage gym or as a dynamic addition to a larger collegiate, pro, or military training facility. Each rack is also backed by Rogue’s Lifetime Warranty.

*The satin clear finish is a transparent finish. This will show any blemishes or marks from the manufacturing process that are present in the steel.

Best Power Rack I've ever used.
This has got to be the best power rack I've ever used.  The 690 model has plenty of walk-out room for squats.  I highly recommend buying this with numbers, eliminating guesswork when adjusting J-hooks or straps. It comes with 6 weight standards and UHMW padded j-hooks so you don't destroy your knurling on your barbells.

Unleashing Potential: ROGUE RML-690C Power Rack
From the moment I assembled the RML-690C in my garage gym, I knew my workouts were about to hit a new level of intensity. This beast isn’t just a piece of equipment; it’s a cornerstone for anyone serious about lifting. Build Quality and Design: Robust doesn’t even begin to describe it. The RML-690C’s American-made steel construction exudes durability and stability, no matter how heavy I go. Its custom color finish isn’t just about looks; it’s about making a statement. Functionality: Versatility is the name of the game. With a pull-up bar, safety straps, and ample plate storage, it’s like having a professional gym at home. Adjustability is a breeze, making it perfect for squats, bench presses, and everything in between. Experience: Each session feels safer and more efficient. The rack’s stability gives me the confidence to push my limits, and the setup options keep my workouts diverse and challenging. Final Thoughts: The ROGUE RML-690C Power Rack 3.0 is more than an investment in your fitness journey; it’s a commitment to excellence. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or just starting, this rack will elevate your home gym experience. The only thing I wish I had was an additional stabilizer kit to add to the bottom rear of the machine, I added one to the top.

More than enough!
Unbelievably stout and tough squat rack. I ordered the forward addition for plate storage, but it may not be necessary depending on your setup. There is more than enough room on the rack, itself, to secure the plate holders (if they can be bought separately). The rack is sturdy enough to not need the front addition for stability and tip prevention--which was another concern of mine. ***Pay attention to the height, as I barely got this in my garage below an exposed footer that runs the width of the space. 100% satisfied with the rack. Rogue wins again!

Quality Quality Quality!
(see bottom for some SOLO construction tips) Ok so I just got done putting this thing together. In some ways its too early to review, but I already have some initial impressions. I shopped online for over a year before deciding to go big and get this rack and the adjustable bench. Amazon is full of good looking but low quality foreign racks. If you take the time, you can see all the defects in those products. I wanted to go local, so looked at several recommended US brands. I couldn't decides, so at the end of the day I decided to go with the slightly overpriced Rogue because I wanted the guarantees and quality that goes with it. These racks are amazing solid well-thought out constructions. The only defects were that some of the feet were slightly bent upon arrival. I decided to not worry about that, but if you are pushing huge weights around, you might want to talk to Rogue about this issue. One thing I regret ordering is the pin safety. It is terribad. It is OK if you are going to leave it in place, but adjusting its height is a pain in the butt. I imediatley ordered the safety strap system so I can have more flexibility. I am not going to anchor this thing, as it is a beast. But if you are throwing around more than 500 pounds, you should start thinking about anchoring for safety. ****I had to put this together fully solo. Difficult, but do-able. Follow instructions to put together each set of 3 side posts to make the "walls". Then lift these up and move into place. On concrete, they stood unsuported for me, but you might need to set up a temporary support. Now first place the pull-up bar by standing on a chair and VERY carefully putting it into place and hand-threading bolts. Loosely hand tighten all four bolts. Now the CRUX: The center Rogue top bar is a heavy beast, and will scratch your posts if you are not perfect. The way to install this is to (1) Get 2 bolts and 2 nuts, (2) turn Rogue top bar upside down then lift it to line up the bottom holes, (3) place both bolts backwards (inside to outside), (4) let go and put nuts on bolts, (5) ROTATE the entire Rogue top bar up 180 degrees so it is where it belongs, (5) secure top bolts as per instructions, (6) remove temporary bottom bolts and reinstall per instructions. Tighten all bolts on Rogue top bar and pullup bar.****

UNREAL
By far the best investment I have made into my garage gym. Wish it didn't have to come with the pin & pipe safeties, but we use this every day no matter what. Its a Rogue so I will be able to pass it down to my grandkids in 40+ years too which is a plus.

Bomb Proof
I upgraded to this rack (from a *cough*powertech*cough*) about a year ago and don’t regret it one bit. Benching - the WSBB spacing is great for getting the j-cups right where they need to be for benching. The pin and pipe safeties work just fine. Squating- no complaints on the hole heights. I’ve bailed 405 with the strap safeties and boy can I tell you, this rack is bomb proof. DL - I use the rack for pin pulls with bands. Even with the heaviest bands the rack doesn’t budge. I was a little concerned about that since I do not have it bolted down. What else can I say? The machining on the rack is great. Zero slag or burrs in the holes. Best investment I’ve made for my home gym hands down. I did have to buy my UPS driver a case of beer...

Waited 4 years to get this, well worth the wait!
I had a vision for my garage gym several years ago, as a way to get back into shape and do the activity I love, weight lifting. After 4 years of deciding (and some saving!) I decided to pull the trigger at the start of this year. I immediately felt skeptical that I made the right decision, but after I put this together with my sons and got my gym organized (I am a neat freak) I felt very happy with my purchase! Very well built, and looks great. I have gotten several work outs in and have had no troubles at all.

My favorite purchase
This is a really great rack. Being able to lift at home has been really nice, in the past I would go to the gym but since having kids that doesn’t happen, now my kids come out to the garage and see me working out and are starting to join in. At 1st I had the rack set up in a more standard way and it worked pretty good but the slinger would get in the way of using the front of the rack, so I switched the set up and this has been working better. The only negative I have is the upper cross members don’t go all the way to the top of the rack like the monsters do so I can’t over head press in the rack, it would be cool is rouge had an option to add the monster style upper cross members.
