Rogue HR-2 Half Rack

The customizable Rogue HR-2 Half Rack can be installed as a stand-alone unit or by converting an existing Monster Lite Series squat stand .

Manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, the HR-2 features the same 2x3" 11-gauge steel base and 48" x 49" footprint as the SML-2, but incorporates an additional pair of 3x3” 11-gauge steel uprights and 17” crossmembers in the back of the unit. This gives the rack a huge amount of additional storage capacity and almost a foot and a half of inside depth for benching, rack pulls, and more. The Half Rack also offers a range of customizable options to best suit your needs—including the optional plate storage and pin/pipe safety sets, and a selection of different heights for the uprights themselves (90” or 108” for the front; 70” or 90” for the back).

IMPORTANT: If you already own a Rogue Monster Lite Squat Stand (SML-1, SML-2, or SML-3) and wish to convert it to an HR-2, we offer a Half Rack Conversion Kit that would include all the components and hardware you’ll need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality, easy to ensemble I’ve had the rig for about 3 weeks. Everything is great. It is free standing so the only issue is that it shifts a bit while doing pull ups

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small footprint, heavy duty, beautiful First big purchase for a small 10'x13' spare bedroom gym. Rogue made sure I had 90" matching uprights. Plenty of accessories, versatile, and plenty of hole spacing choices for anyone in your home. I added spotter arms, storage options, and went for the smaller diameter knurled pull up bar! I moved the original skinny bar to rear in case I change my mind, but that added some extra extra stability. Looks and feels great! Returned the wheels.. didn't know what I was thinking when I added it to the cart bc itS not moving. Buy this rack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to add some versatility, Some compr Let me begin by saying, You do have to make a decision is the rear of your half rack going to be for plate storage or are you going to squat and train within the space between the uprights? Once you add plate storage to the rear uprights the space between the uprights is now virtually useless unless you keep the plates so high bottom of the plate no lower than 69 inches from bottom upright. Other wise you’ll bump plates On bar with plates stored on rack while squatting. If you plan on using it for plates storage my suggestion is to buy removable wait storage like a J hook style Weight horn/storage peg. I squat bench incline bench front squat all within the confines of the 17 inches. I don’t know if rogue really meant for that space to be used but they do sell The pin pipe safeties I own them And love them. If you plan on doing band work you must keep enough weight on the rack I found out the hard way and now I have a hole in my wall... let my mistake save you money... they also sell bolt down gussets. Also my rack is a bit more custom and he’s built more like a flat foot and will be considered a mini rack now LOL I purchased extra triangle gussets placed them at the bottom raised the lower stabilizer bar (now it’s a cross member and added plate storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size and Solid. This half rack is perfect for my basement gym. I was a little worried that it would move around or wobble but it's as solid as a tank. Almost no movement when doing pull ups or re-racking heavy weights. Highly recommend.
