Genesis Jack

Developed through years of precision engineering work and testing, the Genesis Jack is a lightweight, compact, and dependable new implement for loading plates when deadlifting (or for any other barbell movement starting from the floor). Designer Steve Kleva has combined a solid 6061 Aluminum Construction with an efficient design that enables a stable footprint, consistent protection for the bar, and a comfortable custom grip for the user.

Each Genesis Jack is hand-made in Tempe, Arizona and equipped with special “Jack Hooks”: replaceable UHMW polyethylene inserts that serve as the ultra-durable contact point for your barbell. The grip portion of the jack includes finger recessions for superior control, and the foot functions as a wide, stable platform with a notched radius operating on a calculated fulcrum. The result is a barbell jack that weights 1LB-10 ounces small enough for a gym bag—that also virtually eliminates any strain in set-up and is strong enough for any load you can muster.

You can order the Genesis Jack from Rogue in your choice of Black or Raw (see images above).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect This thing is perfect. Lightweight, fits in my gym bag. I don’t have to mess around rolling plates on a wedge or fatigue my back slapping plates on a bar without it. I’m really glad I spent extra and went with this instead of a wedge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can’t believed I worked out for so long with it! I wasn’t planning on buying this, but I’m so happy I did. Yes it’s more expensive than some other options. This is why I choose it: 1. Space saver - perfect for garage gyms 2. More reliable than some other products. Probably not for you if: 1. You’re an advanced lifter with a very high deadlift. 2. If your budget is tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves so much energy and time. I wasn't sure about buying this because its not necessary and I didn't want anyone to pull my man card for using it but after the first day, I'm so glad I bought it. It saves time and most importantly energy. no more lazy days not adding more weight to the bar because I don't want to take it all back off. This thing makes adding and taking off plates lighting fast and easy. be aware it requires assembly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Deadlift Jack As someone who deadlifts three times a week, this jack has been amazing to carry in my gym bag for backup. I'm lucky, because my husband is the man who envisioned and invented The Genesis Jack, so I've had the unique opportunity to use all the prototypes that led to this genius design sold here on Rogue today. I'm thankful for the jack, and I'm thankful for all who have purchased it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product but Expensive This item seems to be very well made. It securely lifts a loaded barbell with no sign of play or structural weakness. Assembly was very easy as their online video simplified the process and was extremely detailed, offering helpful tips. My only complaint has been the cost. $90 seems way too much for what it is. The fact that it didn’t ship for free made the decision to purchase it that much more difficult—another $13 for shipping. The reason I decided to purchase this was that I was tiring myself out, changing plates between warmup and working sets. By the time I’d struggle changing the heavier plates, my “rest” period would be over, but I was too tired to start my next set. So, I extended my rest time (to recover a bit more) and, thus, my overall workout time. The Genesis Jack helped immensely with this problem. All in all, I would recommend this product, but only as an absolute necessity. If a Dead Wedge (or other product) would meet your needs, then I’d go that route; it just didn’t work out for me though. Of course, if cost isn’t an issue, you should be more than pleased with the Genesis Jack.
